3. Viron eVo P600? Different motor. The eVo P600 takes the 2.0 HP 71422.
4. Match the controller. Fluidra lists the BLDC controllers by size: 21483, Controller BLDC 1 HP (item 20 on the eVo P320 list), and 21482, Controller Box BLDC 2 HP (eVo P600). Do not mix sizes.

Before You Replace the Motor

Before condemning the motor, isolate the power and check whether the impeller can move freely: something jammed in the impeller can stop the pump without a motor fault. If the shaft turns freely and the pump still will not run, have the motor and controller tested, because a controller fault can look like a motor fault.

Isolate the pump at the power point or switchboard before any work. Astralpool's Viron manuals say the pump must be installed and serviced by a licensed electrician in accordance with AS/NZS 3000.

2. Separate the motor from the wet end and inspect the impeller, mechanical seal, seal plate and O-ring.
3. Fit a new mechanical seal if the old one was leaking or is worn, and transfer or replace the fan, clip and cowl.
4. Refit the matching controller for the pump model, then have the electrician test the pump.
