What This Part Does

Zodiac lists the VersaFlo integrated bypass as item 1 on the JXi water system parts list, with the one part number, WG000016, for the 200 and the 370.

It is wired to the heater: the wiring diagram in the Astralpool IXI manual (Figure 17) shows accessory leads for the VersaFlo bypass, including the bypass motor and bypass switch connections.

Fitting Notes From the Manual

1. Turn off all power to the heater at the breaker and turn off the main gas supply. Make sure the pump is off and will stay off for the whole job.
2. Seat each union o-ring properly and tighten union nuts hand tight only. Don't overtighten, and don't use pipe joint compound or tape.
3. Only nominal 50 mm PVC or CPVC may be connected to the heater's water connections.
4. The VersaFlo bypass connects to accessory leads in the heater's wiring, so electrical connections must be made by a licensed electrician.
5. Return all valves to their operating positions, restore power, run the pump and inspect carefully for leaks, then restore the gas supply and check for proper flow.
