Fitting Notes From the Manual

1. Turn off all power to the heater at the breaker and turn off the main gas supply. Make sure the pump is off and will stay off for the whole job.
2. Seat each union o-ring properly and tighten union nuts hand tight only. Don't overtighten, and don't use pipe joint compound or tape.
3. Only nominal 50 mm PVC or CPVC may be connected to the heater's water connections.
4. Return all valves to their operating positions, restore power, run the pump and inspect carefully for leaks, then restore the gas supply and check for proper flow.
