The SK1000 Small-Basket Rule (SK1-1.0)

Check your old basket in under a minute:

1. Switch off and open. Switch the filter pump off and lift the skimmer lid.
2. Remove the old basket. Lift the old basket straight up and out of the skimmer.
3. Measure the rim. Measure straight across the top rim, outside edge to outside edge. The SK1000 basket is small, about 140 mm across.
4. Measure the base and height. It tapers to a base about 90 to 93 mm across and stands about 127 to 132 mm tall.
5. Rule out lookalikes. A basket about 187 to 190 mm across is the SK900 / SK950 type, and about 170 mm across is the Quiptron type.
