Zodiac AquaLink TRi Pool & Spa Automation Controller

The Zodiac AquaLink TRi is a four-function pool and spa automation system designed to simplify the operation of pool equipment, including pumps, filtration, heating, lighting, water features and other compatible devices.

Available in pool-only and combined pool/spa configurations, the AquaLink TRi allows equipment to be controlled from a central interface, with programmable operating schedules and optional iAquaLink internet connectivity for remote operation.

Available Models & Differences

There are four AquaLink TRi configurations. The main differences are whether the controller is supplied for pool-only or combined pool/spa operation, whether valve actuators are included, and whether the iAquaLink internet control hardware is supplied.

Which Model Do I Need?

WTCUI-PS4I - Pool & Spa with iAquaLink

For combined pool and spa systems requiring automatic valve changeover and internet/app control. Supplied with two Jandy valve actuators and iAquaLink connectivity hardware.

WTCUI-P4I - Pool Only with iAquaLink

For standalone swimming pools requiring automated equipment control and remote operation using iAquaLink. No valve actuators are included.

WTCUI-PS4 - Pool & Spa without iAquaLink

For combined pool and spa systems requiring automatic valve changeover, but without the included internet/app control hardware. Supplied with two Jandy valve actuators.

WTCUI-P4 - Pool Only without iAquaLink

For standalone swimming pools requiring central equipment control and programmable schedules without included internet/app connectivity. No valve actuators are included.

• Customisable AUX labels: Allows auxiliary functions to be identified for easier operation.

iAquaLink Internet & App Control

iAquaLink allows compatible AquaLink TRi systems to be accessed remotely through a smartphone, tablet or web interface, subject to internet connectivity and correct system configuration.

The models ending in I (WTCUI-P4I and WTCUI-PS4I) include the iAquaLink connectivity hardware.

The WTCUI-P4 and WTCUI-PS4 do not include iAquaLink hardware. Although the AquaLink TRi platform is iAquaLink-compatible, internet control should not be assumed to be included with these versions.

Pool Only vs Pool & Spa Systems

The P4 versions are designed for pool-only applications and do not include valve actuators.

The PS4 versions are configured for combined pool and spa applications and include two Jandy valve actuators. These are typically used to change the suction and return plumbing between pool and spa operation.

All four controllers support up to three compatible valve actuators, but the number physically supplied differs between versions. Additional valve actuators, if required for the installation, are separate.

Installation & Compatibility

The AquaLink TRi is an electrical pool automation system and must be installed and connected by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable Australian electrical requirements and the manufacturer's instructions.

Compatibility with existing pumps, chlorinators, heaters, lighting systems and other equipment must be established before installation. Some equipment may require additional connections, interfaces or configuration to achieve the intended control functions.
