The Diamond 50 is a complete pool and spa controller with salt and mineral chlorination built in. One unit runs your heating, pumps, valves, lighting and sanitisation.

The BWT Diamond 50 Mineraliser is more than a saltwater chlorinator. It combines salt and mineral chlorination, integrated pool and spa automation, a high-brightness touchscreen and smartphone control in a single IP45-rated control box.

The Diamond 50 produces 50 g/hr of chlorine and suits salt and mineral pools up to 100,000 litres in hot climates. It integrates with spas, pool heating, variable speed pumps, lighting and automated valves. Add the Diamond Dose for pH and ORP control, and the Diamond Hub to expand equipment and valve control.

Retrofitting Over an Astralpool Cell?

The Diamond cell uses the same thread as Astralpool cells, so it threads into the same unions. The spacing between them differs slightly, so allow for a small pipework adjustment. Call us if you want the fit checked against your existing setup.

Supported Variable Speed Pumps

The Diamond Mineraliser can directly control a wide range of variable speed pumps, in addition to any standard single speed pump. Astralpool Viron XT pumps are not supported. Confirmed models include:

• Pentair EnviroMax 1500 - relay controlled, speeds 1/2/3 set on the pump
• Pentair IntelliFlo VSF - RS485 controlled, RPM set from the Mineraliser screen
• Hayward TriStar - RS485 controlled, RPM set from the Mineraliser screen

Expand the System

• Diamond Hub - adds 3 outlets, 4 relays and 3 valve actuator outputs. Connect up to 3 Hubs for 9 ancillaries and 9 automated valves.
• Diamond Doser - automatic acid dosing for pH control, in timed mode or auto mode with a pH probe.
• Diamond Temperature Sensor - required to control a separate gas heater or heat pump.
• pH and ORP Sensors - add automatic pH dosing and automatic ORP-based sanitiser output control.
