Astralpool CTX 360C 1.25HP Pool Pump

The Astralpool CTX 360C is the current generation of the CTX 360, a genuine Australian made Astral / Hurlcon pool and spa pump rated at 1.25HP with a maximum flow of 360 litres per minute. The "C" is the latest iteration and it directly replaces older CTX 360 Mk1 and Mk2 versions, plus Hurlcon TX 1.25 pumps in most installations without plumbing changes. Astralpool product code 21360.

Replaces the older CTX 360 Mk1 and Mk2

Astralpool has run the CTX 360 through several generations. The CTX 360C supersedes all of them and is the only version currently manufactured, so it is what you receive when you replace an older unit. It uses the same mounting and plumbing footprint, which is why it is a straight swap for:

• Astral / Hurlcon CTX 360 Mk1 (first generation CTX 360)
• Astral / Hurlcon CTX 360 Mk2 (second generation CTX 360)
• Hurlcon TX 1.25

Important sizing note: older Hurlcon CX and TX ranges used inflated horsepower figures, so HP on its own is not a reliable way to size a replacement. Match on flow rate and head pressure, your plumbing layout, and what the pump actually has to run. If you are unsure, send us your old pump model and we will tell you which CTX suits.

Common Questions

Is the CTX 360C the same pump as my old CTX 360? It is the current generation of it. The CTX 360C replaces the earlier Mk1 and Mk2 CTX 360 and fits the same plumbing, so no pipework changes are normally needed.

What does the 360 in CTX 360 mean? It is the maximum flow rate, 360 litres per minute. It is not the horsepower. The CTX 360C is a 1.25HP pump.

Can I still get a Mk1 or Mk2 CTX 360? No. Those generations are discontinued. The CTX 360C is the current replacement and Astralpool supplies it as the supersession.
