Hayward Gas Pool & Spa Heaters

Hayward Universal H-Series Gas Pool & Spa Heaters

Australian-model Hayward Universal H-Series natural gas heaters for swimming pools and spas. The range covers three output sizes: the H150FDAU, the H250FDAU and the H400FDAU.

Choosing the right size

Heater sizing depends on pool volume, how fast you want to bring the water up to temperature, whether the pool is covered and how much of the swim season you want to cover. Contact us before ordering if you are not sure which output suits your pool.

Hayward heater spare parts

Spare parts for the Universal H-Series FD range are listed separately under Hayward Gas Heater Parts. Hayward parts are ordered in as required, so lead times vary.

Handy PVC Plumbing Size Info
Plumbing sizes can be confusing. Pressure PVC pipe use nominal sizes - the size is simple a name, not the measured dimension. This convention is used across most pool and spa systems so that pipes and fittings remain compatible.
- 50mm / 2" = ~60-61mm OD
- 40mm / 1.5" = ~48mm OD
- 25mm / 1" = ~33-34mm OD
