Our industry is seeing an increasing number of incorrect diagnoses, incorrect part recommendations and unsafe repair advice generated by AI systems such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude and other automated assistants.
These systems can produce information that sounds confident and technically credible while still being incorrect, incomplete or unsuitable for your particular equipment.
Please do not order parts, diagnose faults, alter equipment, bypass safety devices or carry out repairs based solely on information provided by AI.
Incorrect advice can result in the wrong product being ordered, equipment damage, electric shock, fire, gas leaks, carbon monoxide exposure, serious injury or death.
If you are unsure which product you require, contact HASP before ordering and provide as much information as possible, including model numbers, part numbers, photographs and equipment details.
